By now, it should be fairly obvious to anyone reading my stories that I haven't bothered to actually write them in the chronological sequence in which they happen. I write where the Muse leads me to write, and sometimes, She can be a very strange and peculiar source of inspiration. In this particular instance, the story began in 1993 because I wanted to write something that dealt not only with Marty's and Jennifer's wedding -- as the title implies -- but also something in the time  period shortly after I had Doc and his family returning to the future (or the present, depending on your point of view). The direction into which it eventually ran off occasionally surprised even me, 'cause it took a few twists and turns I hadn't expected, but which my subconscious had apparently been planning for some time. What's also strange about this story are a couple of very weird similarities it shares with that of another fan writer, Kristen Sheley -- but they happened without any knowledge on either of our parts that this was what the other was going to do. Though you won't notice them now, I suspect that someday in the future, you will. Also, when I started this story, I had absolutely no idea that it would turn out to be the opening Act in a greater overplot, what I'm laughingly referring to as my "Other Realities Trilogy."
